Personal, private counseling from Dr. Tracy Cabot

Please note: private counseling from a highly experienced psychotherapist is rarely free. If you cannot afford to pay for counseling, you may leave a question at the end of Dr. Tracy's Advice Column; perhaps it will be one of those Dr. Cabot selects to answer in her column.

However, if you want to assure that your question is answered and you value privacy, Dr. Cabot offers the two counseling options described below.

Counseling Options:

Private e-mail from Dr. Cabot, at $49.95 per Question
This enables you to obtain personalized advice from Dr. Tracy at the least possible cost. If you have a specific relationship question, send Dr. Tracy an e-mail at with your question (up to 1,000 words). Be sure to preface your question with basic info about yourself: name, address, age, gender, and marital status.

Payment is by check or Paypal. Dr. Tracy is normally able to respond to your question within 2 working days of receiving payment. The response to your question will be personally written by Dr. Cabot and will be not less than 250 words.

Your question for Dr. Cabot and her response to you will be treated as private communication and will be handled with full confidentiality.

Personal counseling with Dr. Cabot, at $175 per hour
Dr. Cabot has clients from New York City to Greece to Australia who prefer to "go interactive" with her the old-fashioned way -- by phone. To arrange your private phone counseling appointment with Dr. Cabot, send Dr. Tracy an e-mail at with your request and the basic client info Dr. Tracy will need to know: your name, address, age, gender, and marital status. Also be sure to include your phone number(s) and your preferred time to be contacted to schedule your appointment.

Upon receipt of your request, we will e-mail you payment instructions. Payment is by check or Paypal. Upon receipt of payment, we will contact you to schedule your appointment.
